This tube combines the advantages of a thrombin-based clot activator with a gel barrier and enables rapid results as well as optimising the process.The clot activator produces high-quality serum.

Clotting times
The recommended minimum coagulation time for serum tubes from patients not receiving anti-coagulant therapy is 5 minutes for BD Rapid Serum tubes
